How to do a clean reinstall of QuickIM
You should uninstall QuickIM first to do a clean installation again. To uninstall, go to Options/(advanced options)/Applications, select QuickIM, select in the contextual menu the entry “Delete”.
Once the application deleted from the device, remove the battery and put it back in after 5 seconds to do a clean reboot.
After this, reinstall the application, you can install it over the air if you open the following link on the device: http://wapjad.com, and select BlackBerry edition download link in the list
Install QuickIM over the air (OTA) using the wap/web browser
If you don't have a desktop manager to install third party software on your BlackBerry through USB cables, or if you encounter any error using Desktop manager. You can install the software using an OTA (over the air) method. This will download and install the software directly using your wireless network connection.
To install QuickIM using the OTA method, open the following link on the device: http://wapjad.com, and select BlackBerry edition download link in the list. Alternatively, open the following link in your wap/web browser: http://www.quickim.com/dl/bb/ota.jad
Select the "install" option, when prompted to install the software, answer yes. The newly installed software should appear in your BlackBerry's main menu after this.

1. Download the zip file onto your desktop computer. Double-click on the newly-downloaded file and select Unzip to extract the program files.
2. Use the RIM Desktop Manager Application Loader to synchronize the program files over to your device.

2. Start the RIM Desktop Manager that was provided with your RIM device.
3. Choose Application Loader.
4. Choose Add Available Optional Applications and browse to the location of the unzipped files.

6. Look for the "Q" icon of the newly installed QuickIM and launch the software!
If you get the message "No additional applications designed for your handheld were found":
Your phone may reboot, and a little sandglass sign will be displayed. Disconnect the sync cable, please wait the phone is fully rebooted, and locate the newly installed QuickIM icon to launch the software.
