I made a mistake when the phone asked me if I accept to give QuickIM the permission to access network sockets.

Make sure to allow QuickIM to make network connections. The answer is remembered by the phone, so if you make a mistake, you won't be able to use QuickIM anymore. In this case, remove QuickIM and reinstall it.

QuickIM worked for me for a few days, and suddenly stopped working

This is usually not related to the software itself, once it works, it should work forever, but probably something related to your network settings. A few things to consider:
- have you made any changes to your phone's network settings? Installed/removed software that may have changed your phones settings?
- some software may "break" your phone's network capabilities because they try to connect to IPs that are considered as private network IPs. After this, if you try to connect to public IPs, the software will refuse to work because of BlackBerry builtin security features (it does not allow you to connect both to an Intranet and public internet). In this case, the only solution is to remove everything on the phone, and reinstall the OS completely.
- your mobile data subscription options may have changed. For example immediately after you join a mobile operator, they may offer you access to internet services for a limited time trial period. In this case, you may need to subscribe to additional mobile data services. QuickIM needs a data plan that offers you access to the port 1863 (MSN) or the ports 25 (SMTP)and 110 (POP3).
- check out your TCP settings (http://www.quickim.com/products/mobile-phones/blackberry/quickim-user-guide.html) if you are not on a corporate BES
- if you are on a corporate BES, make sure your company has not recently blocked MSN access. If possible, ask your network admin to open for you access to messenger.hotmail.com on the port 1863. If this is not possible, try the TCP settings above
- when you are roaming, your network access rights may be different from one location to another, make sure you are connected to the same mobile provider and your mobile data options still apply
- make sure there is no temporary network issues. In this case, once your device has a reliable wireless signal, remove the phone battery and reboot the phone. Wait one minute, then start QuickIM.
