I have a palm lifedrive & have installed the quickim software. I have created a new msn account with a hotmail address. When I try to add my other contacts they always show up as offline (even if i am doing a test sitting next to the computer). On the PC my palm account shows as offline. I am correctly connected and logged in over a wifi router & can connect to the internet & get email without problems. I am sure there is a really simple solution to this !!! Please help!!
the contacts you added need to accept your invitation before showing their real status. By default, they show up as offline, this is default on MSN.
I suggest you to sign on once with your new account on the PC, and verify that all is working before using it on Lifedrive. If there are pending invitations acceptations, you can accept them.
After users accepted your invitation, things should work properly.
