When manufactured, each BlackBerry device is assigned a unique personal identification number (PIN). This allows identification of each BlackBerry and ensures that mail destined for a particular individual is delivered correctly.
To locate your PIN number:
Method 1: on your device,
Select Options.
Select Status.
You will then see an 8-digit alphanumeric ID labeled "PIN:"
Method 2: connect your device to the PC, the BlackBerry Desktop Manager should display your PIN number on the lower left side of the window
