Quick im error message "Failed to transmit"

I recently installed quick im on my curve 8300, and whenever i try to access the application it goes into this blank screen and on the top it says star... and after a couple of minutes i get an error message that says " failed to transmit" and it does it all the time. Any ideas on what i need to do?

have you configured the TCP settings on your BB device?
