Network problem with my M600i

Hi I'm using a Sony Ericsson M600i

after succesfully installing QuickIM Free Express Edition 2.5 I get the following error when I try to Sign In

Network Error Err:java.io.IOException: java.io.Exception: readLine Try again using default proxy servers?

If I press yes the same error occurs again. I've not changed anything under server settings.

What does that mean? What am I doing wrong?

I can use POP3/SMTP and I have recieved Connection Success when I surf to proxy.quickim.com

My mistake. It turned out that I had a SMTP problem after all.

Now it works perfect.

good. Please understand that GPRS connection are unreliable, if you are in a very crowded area, mobile operators may dedicate data bandwith to voice calls only, if you are in a fast moving train, you may lose data connections. Because of this and other similar situations, you may not be able to use data services temporarly.
