| Can anyone help me? I'm new to BlackBerry and I've installed a registered version of QuickIM in my phone using BB desktop software. The problem is when I try to log in MSN my phone reboots when it is receiving the contacts list. |

| you should probably update your BlackBerry OS, this seems to be a OS level bug. QuickIM is a Java application that runs inside a sandbox, and cannot crash the system |

I have experienced exactly the same problem in my Pearl BB but I learned several things:
This will happen when log in and retrieving contacts if you previously closed the program using "close" in the menu without signing out from the server
It will continue to happen until you log in in your normal Internet messenger service in your PC. |
